How to overcome the fear of being alone in the dark...?

For the past week I have not been able to sleep. Thank god it's summer so, i still have the opportunity to sleep during the day. actually, the main problem is that you let it go to seed. this tells the plant that it's job of propogating itself is done! when herbs go to seed to soon, the plant usually doesn't recover. i had the same trouble with my oregano a year or two ago. in the future, pick off the flower buds as they form. this actually forces the plant to grow bigger and stronger, sending out more flowers to try to propogate. you might as well harves what you can now, buddy. sorry.

Their coverage maps look exactly the same. I just bought a Virgin Mobile today and the signal is crap. I'm going to return it tomorrow and buy something from another cell provider. Your a mom you will always worry. As far as transitioning him you may find it to be easier than you think. Continue to to put him down as usual but then simply move him to the crib once he's asleep he may wake up but he should go back to sleep after a few minutes if he doesnt start over again. keep this up til you can put him in his crib half asleep without any protest.

Baby with flat area on head?

So I took my 4 month old to the doctor for her regular check up and he noticed the right side of her head in the back is kind of flat. She prefers to sleep facing to the right and I never thought anything of it until now. He said I need to have her sleep looking to the left. When she falls asleep I try to turn her head but I notice when I wake up to check on her she is back in her same old position. I won't let her sleep on her tummy at night due to SIDS and I am afraid to prop her on her side with a blanket wedged behind her for fear she may pull it over her head or turn into it and suffocate. The doctor informed me that if it doesn't improve within a month he wants to have her fitted with a cranial helmet that she will have to wear 23 hours a day. I don't want to put her through that. okay so about a month ago I signed up for this telephone fundraising position, little did I know I was entering a temp agency... so i interviewed for it about 3 weeks ago, I guess they have different events all the time and are constantly looking for people. So the first time I interviewed, I mentioned to my recruiter I had another job opportunity but was still interested in the position.. later he told me the position was filled. SO today I applied for a grocery store on CL and they emailed me right back asking for an interview, it's right up my alley, its an organic grocery store.. anyways, so my recruiter also called me and said that the telephone fundraising company decided they wanted to hire me for this event and training is on monday at 10 am, which is also the DAY the grocery store asked me to interview... I asked my recruiter why they didn't want to hire me last time but now they wanted to, he said that my personality wasn't suited for that position but now it is because my tone and attitude would be better suited talking to high networked CEOs and people like that. I was like okay.. so I have a dilemma. Confused about this odd situation with my dad?

Ok, I have an unusual problem with my dad. I'm a 19 year old guy, and my dad still treats me as if I were a little kid. I don't mean as in the way of over protection, but like he has babyish nicknames for me, makes silly faces and sounds and stares at me while doing them to the point where it's extremely awkward. I do have normal conversation with him (not too deep a relationship though), where he does talk normal. But unexpectedly, he'll start again talking to me as if I was a baby, and he stares at me in a way in which he expects me to giggle back like a toddler. How about selling soft pretzels? Most people I know love them. At my school we were able to raise money for prom by selling them from 1-3 times a week during lunch time, which I think is the best time to sell them since a lot of people don't like school lunch. 2 pretzels for a dollar and one for .75 cents is how much they cost for us, just an idea of how much you would want people to spend. They would also have mustard and brown bags for them if they needed one. I'm not sure how much we made from it but I know we made a lot from it since our prom tickets only costed 50 where as other high schools have to pay up to a 100 just for one ticket. Good luck!

Oh honey, please don't work in a telesales call center. I did for over 5 years and it sucked the happiness right out of me. It is high pressure and competitive and you tend to get overly micro-managed. Cold calling is very boring and monotonous and 9 times out of ten 10 the person you call will hang up on me. When I was doing cold call sales I would sometimes go 2 hours without anyone hanging up on me. I have also worked in an in-bound sales center. Thats a little better than cold calling but still highly stressful. If you do not achieve your targets they will put a close watch on you, or put you on an "action plan" where you have a certain amount of time to improve or you are let go. In sales, you either have it or you dont. If you dont have a knack or talent for it you will really struggle. I DO NOT want to discourage you but I just dont want anybody to go through the stress I did for all those years! regardless I wish you luck in whatever you decide to pursue in life!

I had dreamt that I was at the bus stop and there was a man in a body bag. He was squirming and suffocating, trying to call for help, but was too weak to do so. A note was left - and in that note, the man who had committed this act talked about how he, the man writing, was black and becuase he was black, he was born as the wretched of the earth and had no hope for money, that his existence was doomed from the beginning. The man in the body bag was someone who interviewed the black guy, but ultimately did not hire the black guy. So, the black guy was frustrated and did that to the guy in the body bag as an act of rebellion against God. Really really strange.

I have never heard of fund raising for adoptions. As others have said, one doesn't fund raise when having bio children why should one when adopting. If costs are a concern then consider adopting thru foster care. There are so many wonderful children just waiting for permanent homes and families at little to no cost.

Will my North American battery powered radio pick up Australian radio signal while I am traveling in Australia?

I want to know if the radio that I use in North America will pick up Australian radio signal, or will I need to buy a new radio for when I am in Australia.

Ps3 internet connection?

i use a wireless connection on my ps3 and last night i had a 100% signal but i couldnt connect to the internet it wouldnt obtain the ip address i tried everything from turning off my ps3 rebooting my router rebooting my ps3 i did everything. So then i just gave up and turned off my ps3. Then today when i woke up and turned on my ps3 it connected and said i was signed in. does anyone know why this happened??

I wish i was home alone?

I havent been home alone in years. I have 3 brothers and they hardly evergo out. My mumstays at home always and it's really claustrophobic. sometimes i just want to be on my own, so I spend majority of my time in my room but even then my mum or brothers just barge in whenever without knocking. its really annoying and it feels so suffocating.

Anyone knows how to use asus ai manager?

I have a window vista asus ai manager. After one year my computer ai manager would tell me that the temperature is abnormal. Now it would lose the signal to the monitor whenever I play a game to long. I have recently been able to clean my computer so now my fan is dust free. it still go to at least 54-57 degrees celsius when doing non-gaming stuff. So what i want to know is if its possible to change the fan speed and if so to how high? Also what is a good temperature a pc should be? My computer heats up to 60-65 degrees Celsius before monitor loses signal and when idle or surfing the web it goes about 52-53.

Why cant i get wifi to work?

Okay so i have a linksys wireless router. I connected the router to the computer and the modem to the linksys router, though when i conect it to port 1, its says theres no internet, though when i conect it to port 4 it says there is. But then i go to get on the internet and it says im not connected, though on my ipod i can see the signal and even start connecting but nothing will load. I tried Reseting the wireless router, i switched around cables. None of my cables are broken. So whats wrong? I'm running windows xp, how can i fix this?

My phone won't get internet, what should I do?

I have a mytouch 3g and it receives the signal from the wifi at my house but when I try to access internet content it says there is a "network error". I'm pretty sure its not the phone because it connects to wifi elsewhere but just not on this router at my house. Find an adult you trust (maybe even the doctor) and just say it out straight. If they are someone who cares about your well-being, they will not make fun of you. If you don't have anyone like that, you can talk to one of your closest friends and ask them to help, and see if they have an adult they trust that can help you. You should never let yourself suffer in silence, goodness knows- that's gotten my own friends in bad places. Don't feel bad though, 12 year olds can be fickle and cruel. It is something that comes with childhood and never really goes away, but there are always also lots of kind people who will love you even momentarily as a stranger. Never be afraid to ask for help.

Is my boyfriend suffocating me or just being sweet?

My boyfriend is 18, I'm almost 16. because of our age I expect dating to be simple and easy, but lately it's been the opposite. We've been bickering a lot and seem to get annoyed with eachother easily, but we always make up. But when we do, he uses words like "forever" and "in love", which seem a bit heavy after only 3 months. Last night we were talking about why we have relationship problems, and he got sick. He literally puked, and afterwards blamed stress from his dad, job, college..and our relationship. That was a huge guilt bomb, and I felt like I had to make up with him then. Today he found out that his new job isn't what he thought it was; he thought he would be working with computers but it turns out it's a hard labor position in a factory packaging fiberglass. When I told him it would be a bad idea to take it, he said me and our relationship are his motivation for doing it. I feel pressured, guilty, and slightly suffocated now. I can't tell if I'm overanalyzing or if he's crossed the line. Opinions?

in 2005 my cousin hung herself and ever since iv felt kinda like in the back of my head I'm being told I should kill myself too. one time I started to suffocate myself but I stopped. then another time I stood in front of a rack of ropes and tried to pick out which one to hang myself with. Ideas for a fundraiser to buy my friend a head stone for her grave..?

Well, my best friend that I have known for 10 years was hit and killed by a truck going 55mph when she tried to cross the street over to me and my sister when we were waiting for the bus that morning. She died May 28, 2010. Her year anniversary was Saturday, and it has come to my attention that she still does not have a head stone at her grave. She has a plaque from the funeral home, but I want something more respectful and honorable. Her parents at first didn't want to put one there because they said it would kind of finalize what happened.. But since a year has gone by, they now would like to put a headstone there. So my friends that also witnessed the accident and I are trying to come up with some fundraising ideas so we can help my friend's parents pay for the head stone. My friend Sam said that she could get us a lot and the flea market and maybe hold a car wash there. I also put out the idea that maybe we could make and sell sno cones since it will be in the summer and people will want a cold treat. If anyone else has any ideas, please share them. It is much appreciated :) I want my friend to finally have a head stone that she deserves. I hooked up my Netgear Wireless Adapter and used the Wireless Assistant and SLAX recognized the device and registered great linkage/signal (my Netgear Wireless Router was close by). Great. But now I need to share my Internet connection with the rest of my network which is all wired via a Netgear Wireless Router. How do I get onto my network (which is called "WORKGROUP") so I can share the connection?

Ok, so I am 14 and I love helping people. me and my cousin are just about completed with a HUGE service project in which we got 1000s of dollars worth of supplies for foster kids. I have been touched with stories of childhood cancer, and through my project with my cousin, I learned I can do anything. I want to raise awareness and money for neuroblastoma because it affects kids mostly very young and there is less than a half survival rate. My idea to raise money is to make hair bows and bow ties( from duct tape and strange materials) with my friends and church, and then sell them at public places and spread awarness as far as I can get it . Along with the hairbows I will be singing with my cousin(plays guitar) and collecting money :) I have the resources to do my plan, I just want your guys opinion on other things I can do and things I can change :) Thanks! <3
