Would this be a good idea?

Well, I can see how a guy came up with that but if promoted well, I can see it being successful. Pieing isn't all that exciting but sliming would be good. Consider kissing a cow or some other gross animal, like if you raise $500 or something then one of you will kiss the cow. Also, you would make more money if you were dressed to the nines, for sure.
