Any Money- Making ideas?

So... basically I need to make 3000 pounds in 10 months (it's to go out to africa to work for a charity, the money is for the plane accodidation etc.) . I'm aware of all the standard cake sale, sponsored silence fundraising things you can do... anyone got any other slightly more imaginative idea's?
